Printability improvement of paper

For packaging materials and glossy magazines, printability is an important issue. Depending on the end product, different techniques, such as flexo printing and off set printing are being used. Especially for printing processes in which the ink is being applied by off set, the quality of the printed images and text is of major importance. Research is being carried out on the effect of coating formulations on printing characteristics. Interactions among coating components are subjects of the study.
